a_kleberВ российском сознании Культ Личности - это что-то далекое, заледеневшее в истории и мифах об истории. Но другие переживают то же самое в современности и для них история об истории только еще начинается.
Попытка ливийца описать переживание-во-плоти Мифа Каддафи:

As a Libyan you were faced everyday with a reminder that Gaddafi isn’t just the leader of your nation, but also that his presence will haunt you as long as you admit your identity as a Libyan.

Gaddafi’s survival over the years was based mainly on his success, if we can call that way, to develop a sense of fear and invincibility in the hearts and minds of Libyans, that it was the destiny and faith of Libyans to be ruled by him, and that whatever they did to destroy him they will fail, and he will end up brutally hanging his opponents in public squares, broadcasted on state television to be seen by Libyan families sitting to eat their dinner.

His invincibility became part of the Libyan mind through fear, that failure to overthrow him leads to grave consequences. You can observe that kind of fear in Libyan popular culture, in political satire and jokes. One of those jokes goes like this: ‘While visiting a newly developed tall building in Tripoli, Gaddafi and two of his associates decided to stand on top of the building to view the whole city beneath them. While Gaddafi was standing on the edge of the rooftop, one of the associates seeing an opportunity to kill Gaddafi by pushing him off the building whispers to his colleague telling him to push Gaddafi to his death and get rid of the tyrant, the other associate replied in horror “And why should I do that, he might have the ability to fly!”...»

Особливо заценил вот этот параграф: In 1984 I was living with my family in London, when Gaddafi henchmen at the Libyan embassy opened fire on a group of Libyan protesting his rule outside the embassy building killing PC Yvonne Fletcher and injuring a number of protesters, I was eight years old, getting to realise at that age that the actions of one man can determine the perception of yourself and a whole nation according to his mad behaviour.
Это каким же надо быть вундеркиндом чтоб в 8 лет прийти к такому глубокому философскому умозаключению!..

Мне кажется, частично это уже произошло - в самом убийстве Кадафи. Это как съесть сердце врага, все это зверство в этом действе перешло в "новую Ливию", примерно на этом уровне.

Да только родину на расстоянии любить оно всегда легче. Ну вот он приехал в Ливию, и что дальше? Он что, там жить будет? Или может быть отстраивать страну заново будет после того как наконец "демократия и свобода" свалились на крыши жилых домов настоящих ливийцев? Сомнительно что-то. Писатель он может зашибись какой, не знаю, да только, думается, чужды его детские и нынешние умозаключения будут для львиной доли ливийцев из Ливии которые в одночасье получили "свободу" взамен работы, крова, детей и родителей.
У нас в своё время пелось "Мы всё разрушим до основания, а затем...", да только этот с позволения сказать ливиец песни этой не знает, равно как и то, что после "а затем" идут очень абстрактные слова не имеющие ничего общего с реальностью.

Более того: немало ливийцев-эмигрантов поехали туда сражаться с самого начала и немало уже там погибли. Наверное все-таки их мотивация несколько отличалась в благородную сторону от мотивации сербских и прочих наемников, к. поперлись в ту же ж. по зову Великого Вождя?

Date: 2011-11-01 03:33 pm (UTC)Конечно восстребовано, а то как же не восстребовано. Те-то что были кто успел убежали от расстрелов, стали беженцами. Те кто не успел остались под руинами. Так что теперь надежда только на западных врачей, надо же реализовывать средства выделенное тем же западом на "восстановление" страны.

Этой категории лиц есть вполне простое и ёмкое определение - наёмники. И как у всех наёмников у них вполне понятные и тривиальные мотивации - бабло. А про их "благородные" цели и сравнения с сербами это эксклюзивные сказки CNN-BBC и Ко.
