a_kleberМожет, кто не заметил, но в газете Гардиан сразу после избрания Обамы поперла очень мощная "левая волна", какой давненько там не было видно, надо сказать. Это вообще всегда была очень левая газета, с сильными идеологическими перегибами (в 90-х я на нее даже была подписана какое-то время, но в итоге не смогла переварить - догматизм и идеологичность не терплю ни в каких видах) но в годы бушистких заморозков она как-то сильно сбавила обороты в этом плане. И тут вдруг как прорвало :)

"These people had authoritarian instincts from the beginning but they had to maintain some sort of liberal democratic slogans. These people want velvet authoritarianism," he adds. As Obama was taking his oath of office last week, Khutsishvili was at the US embassy delivering a letter from several civil society groups. It urged the new president not to limit his Georgian contacts to the government.»
