a_kleberПрямо над городом был сбит и упал на жилой район самолет - представитель военного руководства повстанцев заявил, что это их самолет и сбили его кадафисты. (видео сбития на сайте ББС, фотографии там же).
Западные журналисты в Бегнази свидетельствуют, что по городу несколько часов уже ведется ракетный обстрел, танки кадафистов вошли в южный пригород и там идут бои (журналист попал в перестрелку).
Все это на фоне перманентных официальных заявлений кадафисткого правительства (эту лживую шайку, к сожалению, до сих пор транслируют по всем сми), что они типа объявили перемирие и, мол, подавайте нам миссию ООН.
Это пока не конец света - потому что все же город миллионный и парой тысячей даже отборных солдат его не взять. Но в Бенгази на этой неделе вроде уже арестовали несколько групп засланных кадафистов, так что есть вероятность саботажа изнутри.

Seems there's no way yet to tell if the jet was opposition or Gaddafi. Could be a MIG-23, but both sides are using them.
Other observers say downed jet is a Mirage. If so, that would indicate it's probably a Gaddafi jet. I've only heard of rebels having MIGs.

14:32 - Reuters is reporting a source which says the first wave of military action against Libya involving the international community could start as soon as the Paris meeting ends. Earlier it was said the meeting is expected to end at 14:00 GMT. The first air strikes against Libya will be French, British and Canadian, Al Arabiya quotes a French official.
14:00 - Al Arabiya reports that Libyans are gathering in locations that France is expected to hit (Via Sultan Al Qassemi).
Iyad El Baghdadi says that Gaddafi is herding people towards military targets to use them as human shields. Says they “love him”.
Reuters reports crowds of Libyans are converging in the expected targets, from state run Jana news agency.
